清純さ純潔の意味はは蓮の花の特徴が由来
「泥中の花」という言葉をご存知でしょうか？

仏教では泥の様な五濁悪世でも、仏様の導きで素晴らしい結果を出すことができるという意味を込め、強く生きることの象徴となっています。
タトゥーのデザインでは蓮華座と呼ばれる台座にお釈迦様をデザインすることも多いです。
また、梵字を仏様に見立て、蓮華座と合わせたデザインも人気です。

花言葉から由来する沈着、雄弁の意味
蓮の花言葉には沈着、雄弁の意味があり、そのままタトゥーの意味にもなります。
沈着とは物事に動じない君子という意味です。
泥水で育つ蓮の花は、泥に染まらずに綺麗な花を咲かすので、蓮は俗人に染まらない君子の花として沈着の意味が生まれました。
雄弁とは人の心を動かす様に、力強く喋る様のことを言います。
これはエジプトのオシリス王に関係した言葉です。
エジプトでは蓮の花をオシリス王に捧げたとして知られています。

Here it is! The completed project! 3 weeks and over 30 hours to have this beautiful work of art forever ingrained in my skin! And here’s the story behind each piece: ✨ The peony flowers at the top of arm reaching towards my heart represent my mom. My mom is not only an avid gardener, but also loves to cook and bake and there were these big beautiful peony flowers that bloomed right by our kitchen window so I remember so many sunny days sitting at the kitchen table smelling my mom’s banana nut bread as she was baking while looking at these huge blossoms just out the window. The multitude of different flowers represent my grandmother and sister who are also both green thumbs and spend much of their time happily tending to plants. ✨ The Fibonacci spiral on my forearm covers scars of my past when I spent many years of my life struggling with self harm, depression, and crippling anxiety. I looked down and saw those scars everyday and had such a love-hate relationship with them. They showed me my journey, my struggle, my strength. I wanted to turn the pain into something beautiful and what better than geometry that represents the perfect ratio of growth in the universe to have contact with the sun, the source of life here. ✨ Mandalas symbolize cosmic order and are a tool to expand the consciousness to understand our true potential and represent the wholeness of self. There are three centers that spiral mandalas out because three is the number of “all” in the universe. The number of the whole. The beginning, the middle, and the end. The human body, consciousness, and soul. ✨ The geometric pattern on my forearm is the flower of life. It’s a pattern that establishes the creation of the world and the interconnectedness of all life and creation. This pattern can be found across the entire world for thousands of years in art, texts, and temples. ✨ The symbol of a lotus on the hand represents overcoming adversity on the path towards enlightenment and perfection. The lotus leads to an unalome down my finger which represents the twists and turns we also face on this path towards enlightenment. The dot at the end of the finger represents the moment of enlightenment. ☺🙏🏻❤
